Yacc Lab's first area of specialisation was in the area of Unix O/S. We continue to offer an excellent level of expertise in the areas of Unix and Unix-like O/S and related technologies. We regularly use open source software as the basis of custom network appliances and tools, and have had a great deal of success in this area.

It is testimony to our expertise that we are often asked to advise on the design and development of open source and Unix based products on behalf of clients.
