NHS Projects
Over the years, Yacc Labs
Ltd have been responsible for the installation, maintenance and
upgrading of several NHS Trust's mission critical systems.
As well as the hardware projects, we have also developed several
software packages for the Trusts including: Intranet and content-management
solutions and an Address Book system.
The Address Book is an Intranet-based
website, using PHP and MySQL technologies, allowing a user to search
for address book contacts via name, site, department and/or directorate.
Course Booking
System
The Course Booking System
is an Intranet-based website, using PHP and MySQL technologies,
allowing course managers to manage course attendee details, course
details, tutor details, venue details and course schedule details.
A course manager can create
courses and invite system users to attend courses via email notifications
generated by the system. In addition to invites, attendees are notified
of any course changes and/or cancellations. Course managers can
view course statistics to determine which system users have accepted,
rejected or not responded to an invitation. The CBS allows course
managers to automatically generate course programs for courses that
need repeating over a particular time period.
System users can view a list
of courses they have been invited to attend and either accept or
reject the invitation. In addition, system users can book themselves
on other courses which they haven't already been invited to attend.
Retained Payroll
The Retained Payroll is a
client-server application, using Visual Basic and SQL Server technologies,
providing the ability to manage fire brigade staff postings, fire
activities and payroll details.
The user can keep track of
staff information and posting details to define a staff member's
location, rank and payment rates. Details of staff member involvement
in fire activities can be recorded in the form of the call and return
times, the duration and the activity details. From these details,
payroll information can be generated at the given staff member rates.
Project Management
System
Project Central is the
result of the development of a project management solution – based
around existing Intranet technology. This allows the conception
of new projects, project discussion boards, notifications, document
management and document version control. Updates and news
items are delivered via email to project members and managers. A
seamless link into Microsoft Word has been created to allow for
document alterations and updates.
Intranet Applications
An integrated Management Information System.
This is a large multi-module system, linking various work streams
together with core data sets-providing full reporting and associated
Intranet site applications allowing remote access.
Web Solutions
A Web-based EDI application for hazardous material dispatch and delivery.
This links warehouses, hauliers and customers together effectively
and efficiently. |
