National Mental Health & Ethnicity Census 2005

Yacc Labs have developed the electronic data capture methods used to capture and return the data collected for the National Mental Health & Ethnicity Census of 2005. The data capture tool has been developed using Microsoft Excel as the application platform and offers the end user various tools to aid them in the collection of this highly important information. Together with a simple user interface data capture form there is also the option to import data that has been exported from various Patient Administration Systems.

Once completed, the spreadsheet is then encrypted and submitted to a secure website that has been developed and hosted by Yacc Labs. All the data is then collated into a database for anaylsis by the Healthcare Commission. All patient identifiable information has been either dropped or encrypted prior to leaving the service provider's premesis and uploaded over a secure connection, ensuring that all measures have been taken to maintain patient confidentiality.
