History and Philosophy
Yacc Labs is an independent IT consultancy, set up in 1989. Our independence means that our customers can rely upon us to provide the best solutions to their problems, rather than the best that our suppliers allow us to sell them. It also allows us to become involved in such areas as specification, tendering, evaluation and procurement of solutions on a client's behalf.

We measure ourselves by our ability to understand our client's needs, create complete working solutions, and keep them working. We do not believe that computers should control or complicate the way in which an organisation works. We devote our expertise to helping people run their own businesses in their own way; they are the undisputed experts in this area. Our role is to analyse current and potential needs and provide the most cost effective solutions available for increasing productivity. Through partnership with our client, this should be achieved easily and effectively.

More than 90% of new business comes to us through referral by existing customers, and 70% of our revenue comes from clients with whom we have been doing business for more than five years.
